Earrings are Back!

Well...I caved in and renewed the button earrings. I love wearing mine in the springtime/summertime, so I thought others might enjoy them as well. Hopefully you will like them! Take a look on my Etsy and let me know what you think.

I'll be adding more of the button earrings when I get better pictures of the pink ones and such.

So...since I didn't feel like bringing my sewing machine to Iowa again, I decided to pick up knitting. Turns out this new hobby is quite addicting. Check it out! I'm still learning, though.

Well, even though it may be cold in Iowa, I think I am going to wait on posting the new pairs of mittens until a later date. It seems like the mittens aren't really selling, which is a complete downer. Oh well.

My roommate and I are trying some new crafting- knitting! I think that could be fun to try and maybe sell in the future (of course, I have much to learn before doing that!) We're going to take a cable knitting class from the University and hopefully retain it so we can make some more cool things! We'll see how that goes.

Anywho, stay warm! I know it's freezing here...literally.

Well, after seeing that my Etsy jaunt isn't as successful as I wanted, I might not renew the button or lego earrings after their listing expired. I'll keep the mittens going, but the little pieces of jewelry might not stay up there past April. So...if you want them, please think about it now! I'll probably keep them and give them away as gifts or something...maybe try selling them on our annual garage sale or something. We'll see.

In other news, I've been staggering my mittens since they don't get many views, and I'd like to keep my 20 cents if they don't sell. And since school has started up, my mitten-making won't happen as frequently anymore, since my future career is a bit more important right now, if you know what I mean! So hold tight, I'll be trying my best to keep things going!

Also, if you have cute ideas for mittens, let me know as well. I'm open to suggestions!

Finally uploaded my new mittens...they're a fair isle pattern. Enjoy!

I should be posting the red/black plaid mittens soon as well...classes start on Monday, so my motivation will be more towards studying (minor details).

Nonetheless, hope you all enjoy the new fleece pattern! I think they're pretty cute.

I finally got the Etsy mini toolbar working. All the mittens I have taken pictures of are posted on there, as well as other nifty things I have created.
